The history of Amoun Hotel is back to fragrant of the history of old Alexandria because it is located on southern borders of Faros Island. The location of "Amoun Hotel" is distinguished with wonderful panoramic scene from its surface along the charming costal regions of Mediterranean Sea, which is extended from Quitbay Castle until the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and what between the Eastern Port which narrates the story of old and modern Alexandria. The hotel was founded by Mr. Muhammad Al-Gammal in 1982, whom his private vision was set by him about the history and potentials of the unique location of Alexandria City. In addition to being close to many of Tourist & Trade Attractions, especially the International Port of Alexandria.
